Test Probe For HSD Connectors
High-Speed Data Connector is a connector designed for the high-speed data transmission that applicated on the automobile cable assembly connection, the automobiles manufacturers are using this high-performance digital system for low voltage differential signals which prevents interference from crosstalk and external sources. This kind of connector is 100Ohm impedance interconnect system.
F819 test probe is designed with 100Ohm Impedance with high shielding efficiency for the high-speed data connector (As RosenbergerHSD®). The eligible design is fully matching the HSD inner pins and the outer shielding to keep the signal stably transmitting.
Why to choose a spring probe to test the HSD？Normally we use the original cable assembly to interface the HSD connectors directly, but the connector has a very short contact life compared to spring probe, the paired connector is barely worn after the life spent and can’t ensure the contact reliability. And it will take a lot of time on human operations. Spring contact probe is a better option to test HSD connectors, the spring softly contact will make sure the HSD connector from damaging, and match up with the automotive fixture to save a great mass of time.
