How To Use The Test Probe To Test The FPC Board On FCT


It is namely FPC board that is made of the flexible print circuit board and widely used in electronic products.

We should know the characteristics of the FPC board before we get to test it.

The FPC board has a plurality of bare metal wires arranged in groups to connect the connectors at both ends soldering the copper foils or gold pads.

But because the copper foil is a very thin and light layer of metal, its adhesion force is much smaller than other components (pads or dips). The copper foils are easily peeled from the substrate. So we should pay more attention to test it protectively.

The thin copper foil is easy to be stabbed or scraped by the inappropriate spring contact probe. We can use the right chosen spring force and appropriate stroke and a matching probe head type to figure it out.
